Louis was found as a 3 month old pup on the side of Mountain View Road. The poor pup was scared to death and peed all over Bob when he picked him up. Bob fell immediately in love with him, but still tried to place him. The owner of a junk yard really wanted him, so Bob adopted him. Three days later, he went to check on Louie, and he was tied to a broken down vehicle in the junk yard. Bob took him back and just kept him.

Abbey used to be a boarder at Furrst and Furrmost Pooch Palace. When her owners' husband passed away, the wife was not healthy enough to care for her. So just before one Chirstmas, her owner brought her here to live with us. It was a very sad day for her owner, but Abbey is very happy here. I call her my equal opportunity lover because there is not a person or dog she doesn't love. When people come to the Palace for a dog interview, she cuddles up and sits right on everybody's feet.

Baby saw sucker written all over Bob's forehead. When we were Stray Animal Emergency Fund and doing adoptions, Bob wanted a small dog to take to adoption clinics, so more people would come over to see the dogs available. He went to Save-A-Pet and saw Baby, put his hand down for Baby to smell, got some wags, picked him up and was immediately rewarded with lots of kisses, so he asked Save-A-Pet to let him try to adopt out Baby and give him the advantage of open boarding while doing it. Well, it turns out Baby hates just about every one else in the world and tried to bite everyone who went near him. Needless to say, Bob had to keep him to save his life. Back to top.

Toto is a Catahoola mix who came to us from Duraville. His brindle coloring and light blue and brown eyes make him look very intimidating. But don't let that fool you. He really is a gentle, lovable dog who we call our resident face cleaner. He is also a cuddle bunny and loves to curl up on the couch with Bob. He weights in also at about 70 lbs.

Bella
is our three legged love came to us from Save-A-Pet. She was so severly abused that she would run from anyone who approached her. So we took her. She gets daily doses of TLC which is hours of petting while Bob watches TV. It is going to take a long time for her to mentally heal, but we will give her her daily doses of TLC till she mends.

Doc was part of a father-son pair of Dacshunds. When they were 10 and 8, there owner decided to disown them, so they wound up at Save-A-Pet who then asked Bob to permanently foster them because they could not find any one to adopt them as a pair. Everyone only wanted the son. Tank, the Dad, has since passed away. We call Doc our four legged hole puncher because he likes to chew holes in fabric, like in dog beds and blankets. Stubborn is the word to describe them, but then aren't all Daschunds. Yet despite his short comings, he is very sweet and cuddly.

Turbo
came to from Save-A-Pet. It's so hard to get the older dog's adopted, that Save-A-Pet could not find him a home. So we took him in so he could live out his life Furrst and Furrmost Pooch Sanctuary style. He is a real sweetheart and just fits in fine. We hope to give him a home for a long time. Back to top.
Deijah came to us under unfortunate circumstances. Her previous owner lost her job, house and health all at the same time. She had two dogs, but one was not dog friendly, so we could only take in Daijah. She has had a hard life as she has been hit by a car and immediately run over by another. Her previous owner put her through several surgeries, spent $7,000 and they still were not sure she would walk again. Fortunately she can walk but her gait is not normal. That does not stop her from playing kick the tennis ball in the morning. She just usually never gets to it first. Her hardship has not stopped her from being one of our sweetest dogs who loves to give love nibbles. Back to top.

Boo is a Pitt Bull that was brought here to be boarded but was abandonned. He is the biggest cuddle bunny you have ever seen. Every chance he gets, his head is in Bob's lap or on his shoulders. He gets along with all the other dogs and is remarkably sweet. Also, when Bob comes home he does his Boo Dance which is spinning in circles.
